Meet Dr. Schick
I have been happily practicing dentistry in northeastern Connecticut since 1979. Dentistry is a unique profession. It provides a way to help a large segment of the community, and although I strive very hard to prevent my patients from having dental problems, it is very rewarding to help and relieve someone who is in discomfort. The greatest feeling ever is to know that I am making a difference in people's lives. It is humbling to me to have so many people thank me for helping them on a daily basis. To be involved in such a genuine community generates its own passion, and I am pleased and excited to come to work every day.
My team is truly exceptional and they share my dental philosophy. Not only are they experts at what they do, but they are all happy people who bring joy to all of their interactions with our patients.

I am inspired to provide the highest quality of care to my patients while running our practice as efficiently and effectively as possible. To do so, I take many continuing education courses that keep me updated with the many changes in dental technology. Our office is also a long term alumnus with the Pride Institute, the leader in dental management information. We do all this to make our patients’ experience with us truly exceptional.

Outside the Office
A native of Schenectady, NY, I have lived in Greenville, RI, since 1985. I have three terrific children who have made me and my late wife, Peg extremely proud. They are independent and are no longer at home. To keep me company, I have an awesome Golden Retriever named Bailey. My greatest passion outside of dentistry is tennis, which I have played competitively since high school. In the last few years, I have taken up golf- not as successfully as tennis. I have great enthusiasm for family, health, good food, and travel.
My life has been blessed in so many ways, and I believe that giving back to my community is imperative. I also volunteer and help those who truly need assistance when possible. I am also on the board of directors of a professional singles group in the greater Boston area.
